This project was designed to provide a new 138kV distribution substation to the RMU utility department. This work included a new site access road, site grading and drainage, restoration, perimeter architectural precast concrete fence/wall with ornamental access gates, caisson foundations, site electrical conduits/duct bank, Trenwa pre-cast cable trench, and ground grids. Electrical towers/equipment were furnished by Rochelle and overhead wiring were part of this project and completed by the Morse Group in order to deliver to the city a fully operational substation.
