The St. Charles Riverside Lift Station Project includes the construction of a new Raw Sewer pumping station to replace the Existing Lift station built in the late 1960s. The new Lift Station includes two (2) separate wet wells with four (4) pumps in each well, Odor control system, two (2) influent screens with screw compactors, a standby diesel generator, two (2) public restrooms, and electrical and mechanical support systems. All new underground infrastructure was installed to support the new lift station including raw gravity sewers, force mains, potable and non-potable water, electric, and
fiber. Once the new station was put into service the old station was decommissioned and demolished along with much of the existing infrastructure.
